I wanted to keep the experience as close to the original as far as the narrative goes, and to only give the other areas of the game little tweaks to make them feel slightly more contemporary. The mods I’m using are a mix of visual enhancements (higher res textures, lighting changes, u.i improvements, etc) and some rebalancing to the gameplay. This butch cowgirl’s ready win big at New Vegas and to punch any fascist she meets in the teeth. After a couple of head-scratching issues I’ve gotten my game to a place that I’m happy with!
So I finally spent the last week or so modding New Vegas in preparation for playing it over the winter break.
